This wool turtleneck sweater is definitely a nice piece, but it ended up being a bit different than what I expected. The material is soft and feels comfortable against the skin, which I really appreciate, no itchiness or heaviness. However, it’s much thinner than I imagined it would be, especially for something marketed as a cozy fall and winter sweater. Because of that, it’s not quite warm enough to wear on its own during colder days, at least not for me. The good news is that it actually layers really well. I’ve already planned to pair it under a vest or a jacket, and in that sense, it works perfectly. The oversized fit and dropped shoulders give it a relaxed, effortless look that’s easy to style, and the beige color is neutral enough to match with just about anything. I just wish the knit had a bit more thickness so it could stand alone as a main winter piece. This fits well, but it is not very soft. It is not as soft as other Merino Wool sweaters that I have purchased. It feels more like just a regular wool sweater. Super cute turtleneck that is great for winter! Fit as expected. The neck is a fairly high neck. The fabric can be a little scratchy but not too bad. It says it is 100% wool. You are supposed to wash with other dark colored clothes separately. Feels like a nice quality, mid weight sweater and definitely keeps me warm in these chilly winter months.
