This is a gorgeous pair of earrings! I got the 1 carat with the oval cut and absolutely love them. My nephew says they look better than diamonds after I told him they were Moissanite and I agree. I love the beautiful cut of the stone and the smaller ones that surround it on the sides. For years I had gone without wearing any jewelry and on those times when I did, I had to kind of re-open the holes and then could only wear the earrings for part of a day. By evening my ears were sore so I would end up taking them out to let them heal. I didn't have that issue with these. One of my ears gave me a little struggle to get the post in, but I did manage and went out for the day. I went to bed with them on and here it is about 12 hours since I woke up, still wearing the earrings and I have even a slight bit of discomfort! This probably because they are made of 925 sterling silver. I feel these would make a very romantic gift; the earrings come in a jeweler's box but each earring is in it's own clear coin-bag, with the silver backings in another coin baggy and a second pair of clear backings in yet another baggie. You really can't go wrong with these! EDIT (10/31/25) a few weeks after getting these I was in my bathroom when I heard something dropped onto my bath mat and I looked down and it was one of the studs. Since I've been having an issue with it staying snug I went ahead and replaced that backing with a different kind. I didn't have any issues with it after that. This morning I was downstairs and I heard that same sound and I looked and I found the backing this time from the other earring, in other words the original backing. Try as I might I have not found the stud itself so now I can't wear the pair. I should've replaced that original backing with the other type as soon as I replaced it on the other stud. Do yourself a favor because you don't wanna lose either one of these beautiful beautiful earrings. Put a different style backing on them, the one that they provide just doesn't stay on very well.
