Really good quality for the price, was pleasantly surprised by the weight/knit of the fabric. Perfect for layering, probably optimal for spring/winter weather as an outer layer. I tend to wear an XL in sweatshirts/hoodies because I like them a little loose, so I tried the same for this and it fit similarly. I would only suggest sizing up specifically so that the sleeves are longer after the first wash. The sweater is otherwise amazing! It was super comfy and surprisingly warm as a lonely sweater and as part of a base layer of warm clothes. The sleeves were a little shorter than I expected, but not enough for strong displeasure. I’ve had this cardigan for almost a year and it is very good material, I thought it was going to be cheap feeling and super light but it is a good amount of thick and is a good size that it isn’t fit to my skin and looks very cute. I am 5’1 and 140 pounds and I chose the medium. I’ve also put it in the washer but inside a shoe bag and it comes out fine just a bit wrinkled. After a year some of the material has balled a tiny bit in the back but that’s probably from me standing agains rough walls. Read more

I’ve been wearing this sweater in all but hot weather since last year, and it’s holding up pretty well. I love how comfy and cute it is, and the pocket placement. The pink color is really cute and true to the photo. (The purple, however, is a bit more taro purple than the photos of that one show) I have washed it maybe 3 times since purchasing, because it did pill even before the first wash, just from wearing it under a coat. Under the arms and at the sides especially has some pilling. I try to use Febreeze to keep it fresher without washing it so much and this seems to help. I used a pill shaver very sparingly to get the worst of it, and have not done it more than once. The pilling is why I didn’t rate this cardigan 5 stars. Because I washed it in cold water on a delicate cycle in a bag, the creases from shipping didn’t go away until I pressed this sweater with a steam iron. The look of the sweater improved by a huge amount from ironing it, and I think it might have made the pilling a bit better than it could have been. The XXL size is pretty good for looking oversized on me at 45/38/53. There were not a lot of good options for this school cardigan at my size so I’m glad I found one that fits close to how I want. It’s not as huge on me as it is on the models in the photos, but it isn’t tight and it looks cute. I think I could stretch this cardigan by wet blocking it if I really wanted to. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Liked lantern sleeves. Expected lantern effect on bottom. Weight of the buttons curve opened cardigan inwards. Buttons could be more secure, but secure enough to last a long while. Material was nice and thick, not like the thin cheap material that snags. Like the small weave of fabric. Fabric is not too heavy and is malleable while wearing but is thick enough to hold in decent body heat. Seams well thought out, thick single row seams with protection from fabric so seam will not get snagged. Pockets also have only single row, could add another row. It is very thick thread with moderate stitch length, so should hold up ok for most item use. Shoulder seams slightly bulky to wear with tank top. If you have sensitive skin this may bother you. After harsh criticism I must say that overall I do love this sweater and it deserves 4-5 star rating. Will surely be a favorite in my closet, fabric feels nice against the skin. Good product.
