I want to preface this review by saying that I have an apple shaped body with an apron belly, so my experience buying pants is drastically different than a lot of women. If you're built like me, read on! I have kind of slim legs and the hips of someone who is size 12 (maybe even a 10 in some brands), but a size 16 belly. Finding flattering, comfortable pants is nearly impossible. I got these pants in an XL, which is my normal pant size (although sometimes I wear a L). When I first took these pants out of the package and felt the material, I had my doubts. It looks and feels almost like swimwear, with a slight sheen in certain light from the spandex content. But when I put them on I was blown away. They are magically flattering-- slim in all the right places, but stretchy and accommodating where I need some extra room. They skim over my belly and make it almost disappear, while being very flattering on my legs and hips. They are extremely comfortable!!! Even the length is just right for me (I'm average height, but pants are often too long.) These just skim the tops of my feet, so I can wear them with flats. They have a slim straight leg and they're very high waisted. They'd work with any dressy-casual or corporate casual outfit. The measurements I took from an XL laying flat are: 28" inseam, 17" waist (34" around), 21" hips (42" around). If you are apple shaped like me, order your normal size or a size down even. You will love these! These pants are VERY stretchy and forgiving, but if you are super curvy with a tiny waist, these may not be small enough in the waist for you. Read more
Any time my pants can both feel good AND have pockets they're a real winner! I work in an office and am expected to look somewhat put together most of the time. These are comfortable enough to make that attainable without misery! They're listed as "ankle" length. For me, with a 29" inseam, they're more a full pant length, but for most people they probably are lightly cropped. (Which is great for Spring and for showing off cute shoes!) They have a faux zipper placket, and the waistband is stretchable but lays smoothly. It doesn't have the gathers that can make stretchable pants look too casual. I'm glad they don't have a drawstring. I never know what to do with those in office pants. The stretch is fine to wear them without it, and I don't have to figure out where to tuck the strings in. The fit is a little snug. I'm a U.S. 12 and ordered a Large. They'll do, but they're fitted as close as I'd ever dare wear in the office, and if I put anything in the pockets it'll be obvious by the way they cling and hang. So next time I'd probably go with an XL for a looser fit. But they're nice fabric, and nice looking enough for most days at the office. So I'm a fan. Read more

I’m 5’3.5”. Size 12. These are the perfect fit pants. High waisted. Pockets on the front and back. Faux fly. Stretchy, comfortable, non-wrinkling and did I say comfy? I actually look slimmer than I am; I may wear them constantly as they’ve become my new favorite pants. They hit me at the ankle so if you’re a tall gal, they will be shorter on you. I’ve worn them twice, laundered once and they came out of the dryer perfect. I wore a tee shirt one day and a dressier top the second time and they look great with either; wear flats or sneakers and you can wear heels, they are that versatile. Off to see if they come in Navy. My wife is looking for a pair of pants to wear around work, and thought these would be fun due to the style. She is 5 ft tall and on the petite side, so she does note that her observation on this pair could be due to her size. Specifically, there is just a bit too much material in the crotch region for her 5 ft tall petite frame. If she had another 4 inches it would probably fit and look much better. As it stands stretchy material is interesting, the back pockets do not exist but you would not want them to, and the stitching is reasonably well done. My wife suggests that if you are tall enough these will fit nicely, and give them five stars. Read more
Quick Summary Soft, stretchy, and comfortable, but better suited for casual wear than a professional work setting. Material & Feel The fabric is very soft and satiny with plenty of stretch—almost yoga-pant–like. Comfortable, yes. Polished, not really. Wrinkling & Wear These wrinkle easily and tend to mark and snag, which makes them feel more delicate than expected for “business” pants. Fit & Function High-waisted and stretchy with pockets, which is nice for casual use. They move well and feel good on, but they don’t hold structure. Work vs. Casual While labeled as work or business casual pants, I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing these to an office or pairing them with higher-quality blouses. They read more casual than professional. Overall Value Fine as comfortable everyday or casual pants, but not what I’d consider true work slacks. Read more
These are billed as dress pants, but they feel just like my yoga pants--thin and stretchy. I think they look like yoga pants too rather than dress pants. Still, they're comfortable, true to size, and have pockets. I probably wouldn't wear these to work because they too closely resemble workout pants, but I think they can be dressed up for what I ordered them for: performances with my casual chorus. I have slightly longer than average legs and they are slightly above my ankle, so I might need to wear booties with them so my socks don't show or wear flats and save them for warm weather. Women with longer legs, be warned these might be more cropped for you. Read more
