You know how sometimes, after you wash a cotton shirt, the area between the buttons shrinks, so your shirt pulls funny if you button it up and you really should iron it? NOT THIS ONE! I love how it stays nice looking even after washing. Also, when I first got it, I thought it felt scratchy, and I was so disappointed that I wouldn't be comfortable in it if the weather was too hot. But after washing it a couple times, it feels comfortable. I got a large, even though, if it were fitted, I'd prefer a medium. I'm glad I did. I like the loose flowy look and feel. I wear it over a cami or swim top. It's just so comfortable. I chose navy with white buttons and was surprised that looks good. I also chose sky blue and my husband said he likes it with my platinum blonde long hair. I admit that I never liked ice blue before, but I do now that I stopped coloring my hair and instead of turning grey or white, it turned an icy platinum blonde. It always had a mind of its own. This is a good long length for me. I am 5'7" and it covers my hips and upper thighs. The fabric is very thin and airy. I like it, but it is not opaque. I got the XL and it feels oversized. It would be a good layering piece and a great swim cover up. I'm not sure if it would offer much sun protection. I have been burned through thin fabric before, but I haven't tested this one all day in the sun. Read more

I like the look of the product but noticed other reviews about quality. When I opened it from the bag a button hit the ground. I thought it was an extra but no. It already had a button that had fallen off and of course it’s the 4th down. I didn’t have time to deal with a return so I sewed it back on of course using thread that doesn’t match. Ugh. For years now I have been trying to find a long lightweight button down shirt to wear in the summer. The fashion now is for shirts to be on the shorter side (just touching the top of the thigh) and I’ve been looking for a button down that goes down mid thigh. So every time I’ve had to send it back because it was either too short or too thick & heavy. I finally decided to try a cover up instead of a regular shirt. This is exactly what I’ve been searching for over the past 4 summers. It’s light weight and breathable. Summers get 110+ where I live and I need something light and comfortable.
