everyone has different shapes and sizes, i saw that some of the reviews was negative in regards to the sizing, but the size chart does clearly say that the measurement is off a little and that if you don't want the dress to fit snug to size up. i think it depends on how and where you carry your weight. i have a "A" frame shape, carry my weight primarily in my hips and thighs, so if your hips flare out yes you will definitely need to go up ONE size. I work out so i have a mild athletic build, i generally wear my skirts in size 16 and i got this dress in a size xxl, i sized up and i'm glad i did, i could have worn the xl BUT it would have been a tad bit too snug in the hip area, i'm 5'4 and the dress comes a little below my knees, the blue color is very vibrant and pretty, stitching is professional, and the material is business wear or church wear, measure your hips and know your body shape prior to ordering this dress then you want be displeased, if you carry your weight in your hips yes you must size up like i did. pretty dress for sure Read more
