Womens Button Down Open Front Cardigan Knit Sweaters with Pockets Star Bow Print

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this sweater but was very happy with it. I purchased this for a relative in assisted living who is in a wheelchair. She needed a sweater that would cover her upper back, didn't need buttoning, had pockets & wasn't constricting if she was sitting for a while. This checked off everything. This is an incredibly comfy long cardigan. I'm often cold almost everywhere I go, so having lots of cardigans helps me out a ton. I ordered the "pink bow" and it's soooo pretty. The main part of the cardigan is your standard pink color while the bows are more of a fuchsia color. The contrast is lovely. The bow print is all over (meaning front, sides, back, sleeves). I normally wear between a 14 and 16 in US sizing as I have a very large bust and need to accommodate it. Often, I order to the 16 (which in this would be an XL) but because I saw it was generously sized, I opted to get the large (the size chart says a large is 12-14). This was the best decision. It is still generously sized on me, all over. I say this to say, I would size down one size. I think it will still fit great and like the description photos if you do. UNLESS you are bottom heavy then stick with your normal size. What's important to note is the buttons on my 5'3" frame start around my hips and down. The hem falls to my mid/low thigh (this looks like a duster coat-igan on me; sleeves fall past my wrists, but the cuff is a tight enough knit that it can be scrunched up). If you are bottom heavy, you want to ensure the buttons will close and since the buttons are near the bottom, you're really ordering for your bottom half. Order based on that. The material feels great against the skin. It's a medium to thicker fabric. The buttons are color match the sweater (for me, that means they are pink). They are made of a hard plastic. I find it was relatively easy to button and unbutton. As one would expect from a sweater type material, it does have some stretch and I suspect over time the pockets will stretch some (they are fully functional so you can easily put your phone in there which is great). The media could not be loaded. I love oversized sweaters so when I saw this one, I knew I had to get one. I love how soft this oversized sweater feels next to my skin, but I should have got one or two sizes smaller so it would fit me better. I didn’t realize how much weight I had lost, even with my larger chest (reason why I upsize) it still was extra-large on me. Because it didn’t fit like I thought it would (my error) I will give this as a Xmas gift for my sister who wears 1X/2X in sweaters because this sweater would fit her better than me. Even after washing it in hot water and high heat to dry it didn’t shrink and stayed soft next to the skin. I know my sister will love this oversized sweater maybe even more than I do. Read more

This is a cute sweater! The material is super soft, very comfortable, thick, and has an oversized fit. Size down if you don’t want it oversized. The front pockets are awesome! Really cute pattern, and the cream white shows through a bit. Love it! Read more

This cardigan is adorable! It’s thin enough to layer which I appreciate from being in the southwest but warm enough that I can grab it when it’s chilly. The cut is oversized and just perfect enough to not feel too large. I’d advise to order your normal size as the cut will make sure you still have that oversized look. I like the simple design because it means I to being more versatility so you can dress it up or down and the quality is really nice! Everything is finished well and the weed no hanging threads or strings. I find myself reaching for this cardigan above others because it really goes everywhere. It has buttons and pockets which are large enough to be useful so for me, it’s the perfect cardigan! I love curling up or going out with this cardigan so I’m comfortable no matter the scenario.
