This is a good cardigan. It’s a chunky knit, warm and soft. I like the look of it. It’s not a crop sweater and falls comfortably at my hips. The buttons are secure and fasten easily. There is one small issue for me. My sweater has a strange ( and hard to photograph) bump on the left shoulder. I didn’t review right away in the hopes it would maybe smooth out. But no luck. It’s slightly higher than my right shoulder. So I just tug down my left sleeve to keep it flatter. But it still ends up sitting higherS overall it’s still a good cardigan. Warm and looks great! This cardigan is, at first glance, a pretty classic piece. The cable knit pattern is prominent and good-looking, the buttons pop with good contrast, and the big pockets look exceptionally useful. Everything seems to be about what you’d expect from this general style. However, the sweater is oddly underwhelming. First, it’s not remotely true to size. Yes, it’s a garment meant to be worn over other garments and is thus bigger than a blouse or T-shirt or whatever on a size-for-size basis, but this thing is WAY too big. My wife is an S/M, and this fits like an L/XL. It poofs out along the shoulders and bust, and it doesn’t hold its shape well (if at all). Secondly, the 100% acrylic fabric feels cheap and plasticky rather than soft and plush. That’s unfortunate. Acrylic doesn’t have to feel like a garbage bag; there are plenty of luxurious-feeling acrylic blends out there. Thirdly—and worstly—the thing is scratchier than old spun wool. My wife can’t wear it for more than a few minutes, and while it is warm, the incessant itching makes it a total no-go. This might come down to her various skin sensitivities (everyone is different in that regard), but if you’re prone to itchy fabric reactions, you might want to steer clear here. For my wife, this cardigan is uncomfortable, unflattering, and too expensive for what it is. It looks good in the pictures and on the hanger, but that’s about it. YMMV. Overall, this one is a miss. It is quite scratchy, which I hoped might soften up after a few washes but didn’t. (These is no care tag, so I’m only guessing on how to properly wash this sweater.) It is also very bulky, especially in the shoulders. The shoulders are oddly pointy as if it had taken on the shape of a hanger. This also didn’t resolve after a washing and makes me look like a linebacker, not exactly flattering. The sleeves are way too long, and cuffing them is uncomfortable due to the bulkiness. Also, when buttoned it has a weird form fittedness around the waist while remaining poofy and bulky in the shoulders….just weird…no thanks. Here are a couple of nice things I can say about it. Pretty color (beige), has good stretch to it, very warm, nice pockets, no issues with pilling or unraveling. Too bad these pros just can’t outweigh the cons. Read more

I wear medium but sized up for a loose fit, and it’s perfect. This button down cable sweater is acrylic: no odor, super soft, tight knit but breathable. Never snags, feels high-quality and keeps me warm without bulk. If you feel cold, this button-down is a must! Read more

Looks like a classic staple to any wardrobe, but unfortunately it itches. Fit was true to size, I do like my clothes on the baggier side. The style is classic and versatile. Throw it on while going out the door for a little extra warmth, or class it up with a pair of slacks and a nice shirt. Fabric is good quality but again, it itches.
