I bought a size 8 but should have bought a 6. I am 5'4 and weigh 125 lbs. I want to be able to wear thick sweaters underneath it but I still should have bought a 6 as there would have been ample room. Read more

I was very pleased with the coat. I normally wear a size 8; however, I ordered a size 10 to accommodate bulky sweaters and blazers underneathe and it fits well for that. It is warm and feels great. I am 5’2” and weigh 125. I bought size 6 and it just hits my ankles. This is perfect as I was looking for a long evening coat. The wool is soft and lush and the fit is form fitting and elegant. I thought about sizing up to an 8 so I could wear a heavy sweater beneath it but then I realized that I will be wearing this coat with more formal attire that is not bulky. A size 8 might have been too big in the shoulders, as it is, the sleeves are about 1/4 inch too long but not enough to require tailoring. I am quick to send clothing bought from Amazon back. Too often it is cheap and poorly made. This coat is a keeper and I am looking forward to wearing it to some broadway shows this winter. Read more

The coat is really well made and the material is super nice, soft and warm. The size is running a bit smaller in my opinion. I’m 5’3, 128 lbs. Usually wear a size US 4, but when trying size 4, it feels a bit tight with the clothing underneath, so return it and order a size 6. Very very happy with the purchase. Read more
