I just received my sweater duster and I am in love, in love, IN LOVE.. I want one in every color. Packing the sweater in the Vacuum Package is the most ingenious packaging idea I have ever seen. Not only does it protect the garment, the sweater came out almost totally without wrinkles.. I can wear this out the door as arrived. And not only is that the best, but I get the benefit of keeping an expensive little vacuum bag. The duster is PERFECT in every way. SO, SO very SOFT. The weight of the sweater is like a whisper and right for so many situations. So light you can wear it in the summer over sleeveless or tank tops. But I think many people will also find that they like it in the winter. It’s light enough that a winter coat will slip right over it and when the coat comes off it still looks cute over a long sleeved winter outfit. The sleeves are a little long which is great because it’s tight around the wrist so you have just a bit of extra material in the sleeve. This would accommodate a long sleeved blouse. Some of the reviews stated that the sweater would be to long for a short person. Not so. I am 4’ 11” and it hits me 1” above my ankles. Next on my list is the navy or black or BOTH. Based on reading reviews about the fit being a little smaller than expected, I ordered a size up and wish I hadn’t. I’m 5’9” tall and typically wear a medium, but I bought a large because I was worried about the sleeves and length being long enough. It is very big. Even after cuffing the sleeves they’re still very long. The length is just below mid-calf. The yarn is fairly soft and not itchy. The color is what I expected. The stitching seems to be secure. This is more of a copper shimmer than pumpkin (at least to me). I knew it wouldn't necessarily be an orange-y color, but was very pleasantly surprised at how much of a richer copper color it is. It's not 'metallic' but kind of has a glow to it. Whether your skin tone is deep rich chocolate to coffee with cream, or if you're a honey blonde or have golden brown hair, or a brunette - this is a beautiful color that would appear to compliment most. Redheads will probably look like a sort of phoenix goddess with the contrast of copper to red. The fit is great, neither snug nor loose, though I kind of wish I'd gotten the thicker one, but not a big deal as I plan on wearing sweaters & long-sleeves underneath. I was looking for sweaters that would reach my ankles. I'm 5'5", and this one is just above my calves. I was a bit disappointed about the length, yet very happy about how soft and light the sweater is. This is perfect for the office during the summer. I could go from the car to 90 degrees in the office at 72 degrees without taking it off. It looks great, and I would definitely recommend it for summer building wear. Read more
