These pants are very, very nice. I got them in navy blue in a medium. They’re wide-leg, high-waisted, with an adjustable drawstring and pockets. I’m 5’2” and weigh about 160 pounds, with more of an apple shape, and they fit well. They’re definitely flexible and drape beautifully. The material is 100% polyester, but it’s not the scratchy kind. It has a slightly crepey texture…almost like soft waves or light wrinkles…but it still looks nice and flowy. Even with that texture, the fabric feels soft and has a little stretch to it. It’s not linen, but it has a similar kind of casual, breathable feel. The drawstring waistband is really cute and makes the fit adjustable for different body types. I think regardless of your waist size, you’ll like these pants; there’s plenty of stretch for bigger bellies. If you’re slimmer or want to wear a crop top, the waistband itself looks flattering and is meant to be shown off…but you don’t have to. The length on the medium was just right for me, which is why I usually size down. A large would probably be more comfortable in the waist, but it would also be too long since I’m short. Tall girl friendly but since I’m 5’2 I will be hemming at least three inches off the bottom. I like the fabric. It has a nice texture and is very flowy. It’s lightweight, but so lightweight that I worry lighter shades would be transparent. There is a good amount of stretch to the fabric but because of the thickness I would size up.
