I LOVE these boots and found only two drawbacks. First, the things I like: - They are BEAUTIFUL! The black boot material (man-made), the brown stitching, the sole that's slightly wider than the shoe, and the chunky heel - they're all gorgeous. - They run exactly true to size, with enough room to wear regular socks. - They are super comfortable. I wore them to work and stayed comfortable the whole time. - The ankle height is tall enough to cover socks, but doesn't hit the ankle in a place that causes rubbing. The drawbacks: - The man-made material doesn't look at all like leather. I love the look of the shoe, but I would like it even more if it were either real leather or looked more like real leather. - The chunky heel looks great, but the slight curve on the front side means that they sometimes catch the floor while you're walking. - I think $65 is a bit of a steep price.
