Nice heavy jacket. I was looking for something to wear as an open duster over jeans and a shirt. It works for layering. However, if I wanted to button it all the way down, it would be too snug across the hips. Also, as another customer said, if you want to use the front slant pockets, you need to remove the stitching in center of the opening with a small pair of scissors or a seam ripper. Read more

I love this jacket! I've wanted a longer jean jacket for some time. I was going on a bus trip and wasn't sure what coat to take. My friend Amazon, to the rescue. I'd tried buying a similar coat before, but something got messed up and the order was canceled. Let's try again (a different coat than before). I was unsure about the size, however. I'm 62" 210 lbs and typically wear a size 20 top. I ordered a 4X and I'm quite pleased with the fit. It is a little too large, but I think that will allow me to wear sweaters and extend the amount of time I can wear it. One thing that's a CON is trying to get the buttons through the button holes.
