I ordered these Oxford dress shoes in a size 9, my normal size. The fit is okay, but I felt they are just a wee bit narrow for my wide feet. More so on the left foot than the right. It did pinch a little on the outside edge of my toe area. Also they are a little long, but with the somewhat pointed toe style, I would rather have that than an even tighter fit in the toe area. They are well made of synthetic leather on the upper part and a good, thick rubber sole with great traction. There is not a lot of cushioning inside them, so I will be adding some inserts to fix that. The shoes are somewhat stiff when walking around and I hope that with more regular wearing they will "break in" and get more comfortable. For me, I felt there was minimal arch support, or maybe my foot just does not sit in the right place inside these shoes. I could feel something in there, but it did not align with my arches. It was closer to my toe area. I love the style of these shoes and they look great! While not super comfy, that can be remedied with inserts and getting them broke in. The color is more of a light brown, dark tan. I really like the sole color and how it matches with the upper brown coloring. These are a nice pair of dress shoes and I will recommend them with the caution of be prepared for a breaking in period and have some cushioned inserts on hand for them. The price is a good value for the sturdiness of the shoes and nice looking style. Read more

These shoes are adorable! I love the older looking style of them and that they are versatile with jeans and casual skirts or can be worn dressy. I ordered a size 8 which is my typical size, and the only issue is that they are much too big. They seem comfortable, but I won't be able to wear them because my foot slides around quite a bit. Beautiful shoes. I unfortunately tried to use the seller's size chart and should have just ordered my normal size. My normal size is 7 to 7 1/2, or a Euro 38, and I used the size chart and ended up with a size 8 which was way too big. Use Amazon's recommendation or order your normal size. These Oxford dress shoes are so cute and stylish. I have tried brogue oxfords before but never liked how they looked on me, as they often felt too masculine. These have a classic Oxford style with a feminine touch and that vintage vibe I was looking for. They are true to size and more comfortable than I expected. There is a little stiffness at first, like most Oxford shoes, but it is not nearly as bad as others I have tried and they are easy to break in. I love how they look with jeans and the slightly elevated heel. They are not genuine leather, so they do make a slight plasticky noise at first, but that has been fading with wear.
