Gets the job done for the price
'26/2 1st time purchase/review: -- Watch for sale, as not sure product is worth the full $48 price paid (will update review if need as this is Day 1 owning). -- I bought this shoe to replace my delightful, leather, 20yr old oxfords that finally broke down. I plan to wear these all day while walking about teaching elementary school and trying to still uphold an air of professionalism on staff days. -- Beautiful, deep, gloss on the black faux leather. Looks like freshly polished leather. -- Looks great/legitimate, but OK/inexpensive feel (the material is thin and no gromets for the lace eyelets). -- Great toe box for my wide 4"/10cm foot. Length fits true 8.5 heel-to-toe length (I'm 9.5"/24cm/240mm). I am concerned how the toe box will bend during stepping motion all day, but time will tell if it remains comfortable or starts to pinch. Disappointing that online product sizing info does NOT provide a heel-to-toe measurement. -- Laces (set in 4, bare punched-out holes) are respectable looking round, black, semi-glossy, cotton-type similar to those found in higher quality leather oxfords. -- Impressive looking faux-wood patterned, black, plastic heel clicks smartly as strikes the floor as walk like a good oxford should. Great 2" chunky heal looks like a professional office shoe height. -- Upon 1st look, not fully impressed with the rubber sole, as the heel looks thick and the ball of foot has little grip. Time will tell. -- Comes in a very well constructed, solid orange shoe box with only a small, exterior sticker with the product's pixelated black & white image (no manufacturer, size, shoe type/name, etc.) -- Shoe also comes in brown.
