What could be more cheery than a double-stack of rainbow? At first glance, this colorful striped pullover sweater immediately brightened my day. I think it would lift anyone’s spirits, especially on a dark or drizzly day. I always welcome the autumn rains, but I love having a cozy pick-me-up that I can wear til the clouds part and skies are blue again. And this sweater's so snuggly that I’ll probably want to keep wearing it even when a cool fall day turns warm. When I first tried this sweater on, the relaxed fit felt just right to me. That’s a size M, on a me who’s nearly 5’9” tall and a tad over 150lbs. If your stats are similar but you prefer a more pronounced oversize look and feel, you might want to bump up to a L. Especially if you’re partial to layering, as I am. But in any event, it’s always smart to check the online size chart before ordering. Here’s another cool thing. At my first try-on, I happened to be wearing a pair of rust-colored pants that matched one of this sweater’s color blocks almost perfectly. (Check out the pic.) I thought it was serendipity but then realized this striped sweater’s parade of many colors pretty much guarantees it will play well with anything I might want to wear with it. And speaking of colors, I really like this knit pullover’s muted hues, which suit me better than a glaring assortment of rainbow colors like I’d find in a cartoon. For what it’s worth, I ordered the “Yellow” version of this item. The “Red” also seems to include a full color spectrum, but the stripes seem a bit brighter for more contrast. The fabric content (50% viscose, 28% polyester, 22% spandex) makes this a soft, warm knit that feels casual but stylish. And it’s machine washable, which I appreciate. I’m blown away by this sweater in the Green color. Some sweaters are rough or thin, but not this one - it's an absolute standout! I own plenty of high-end national boutique sweaters, and this one feels just as premium - if not more so! It's super flattering and easy to wear. I was a little hesitant about horizontal stripes but this pattern is actually slimming. The sweater cut is designed to be baggy, and I like how it looks. The material is medium weight and it’s so incredibly soft - no scratching or undershirt needed - it feels luxurious. There’s also a good amount of stretch and movement, making it even more comfortable. I ordered a Large (36DD), and it fits perfectly, so true to size. I’ve really grown to be a fan of Chvity - their products rival the quality and design of high-end boutiques. I would absolutely buy this in every color.
