I bought this for next summer. It is roomy but not bulky. Inside there is a zip pocket and two open-top pockets. The outside has a cell phone pocket. Straps are adjustable to long (cross-body) or medium (shoulder). Cotton fabric may not last as long or be as durable as nylon, but does look more like summer. The interior fabric is a busy black-and-white print, which will make it harder to spot something small when you're rummaging around among all the things you may have in there. A pastel, solid color would be better. The two open-top interior pockets should be wider, so a woman's large hand (8" circumference around knuckles) would fit in all the way to the bottom. I love Vera Bradley bags! This crossbody bag is unique in the black sparkle fabric. It is a good size, not too small, not too big. I love the little pocket on the outside where a phone can be inserted. Also the lining is a white print so easy to see what's inside the bag. This Crossbody midsize purse is a nice size. It’s not oversize and it’s not small. It has a nice inner pocket for your phone. I bought it on sale so the value for me was really quiet. It was made well quality of the cotton is excellent color is magnificent. But I do like blues and greens. It’s a very favorite combination. It’s perfect especially coastal area. I find that the vera Bradley purses are tough for being cotton and they hold up well. I have several now And I bought this for every day purse. I also acquired the wallet to go with the purse and I find the RIF particularly useful.
