Been wearing these boots for about a month now. And I really like them. They are not overly dressy but can be dressed up easily. The brown color is a true cowboy boot Brown and the embroidery is very complimentary to just about anything. The square toe is trending perfectly with the style currently. I usually wear a six to six and a half and I would say these are true to size and fit well. The break-in. Was almost non-existent. I did add a pair of insoles for arch support but that is pretty normal for me for just about any shoe. The height is perfect even for my wide calves and I'm able to wear them without any issues. They do offer good slip resistance on the wet pavement or slick concrete. Overall I would consider these very comfortable and durable and a good value. Here’s my rating scale for products: 1 Star: Do not buy. This item has serious flaws. I would never under any circumstances use again. 2 Stars: Do not buy. Its usable at best, but you could easily find something better. 3 Stars: Just ok. Buy if you can't find an alternative. Some issues need to be addressed. 4 Stars: Recommend purchase. This item met my expectations. 5 Stars: I love this product and would highly recommend to friends & family.
