I am in love with this dress/cover up. Sure, its meant to be a cover up, and it is see through, but who doesn't love to be a little risqué from time to time. It doesn't have a lot of give (stretch), and it can be short if you have a big butt, which I do. But this really is super friggin cute. I love this dress. This is not my usual style, but I love the way it is supposed to fit. I ran into some issues that I could have avoided. My mistake is I ordered a size up. I expected this to be more of a bodycon dress; ITS NOT. It is made to skim the body. So ordering a size up was not necessary. (There is a fit guide at the bottom of the listing that describes the fit). It still is a decent fit as long as I keep my arms down. All of the extra fabric is under the arm. This is a quality knit more so than a mesh item. Its akin to a sweater dress that was not designed for warmth. Because of this, your underwear can be seen based on what color you wear. When standing in the mirror I was reminded that my bra and panties did not match the dress, nor did they match each other (please do not judge). If you wear blue or flesh toned undies, that will help. This dress is fun. I like the hem line, I have short legs, so Its 1 hand above my knee, but it doesn't make me look short. I ordered my usual size, but when it arrived it was way smaller than expected. It barely fits like a proper cover-up and definitely doesn’t have the relaxed, loose look shown in the photos. The material is also not what I expected. The crochet mesh feels thinner and cheaper than it appears online. Because the sizing is so wrong, the sleeves feel tight and the overall fit is awkward instead of comfortable. Another issue is that the stripes and pattern don’t look as vibrant in person as they do in the listing pictures. The whole item just feels like a lower-quality version of what’s advertised. It does look like the photos, but I'm also glad I got this through Vine. Clothing is so hit or miss on Amazon. Like I said, it looks like the photos, but it is...cheap. The material is soft, and that's great, but it's also very synthetic. I don't think it's worth the price. You can get a cute cover-up at Walmart for less. It fits okay. I went ahead and got a large, but my usual size is medium. I did want a little bit more of a relaxed fit and it is. Good for a swimsuit cover-up. I would not wear this as a going-out dress of any kind. The color is true- pretty blues that give a beachy or water vibe and it's fairly lightweight. Definitely a summertime dress. The knit texture would not provide any warmth, and it's also not solid, so you have to wear something underneath. Lastly, I believe this is machine-knit, not crochet.
