A beautiful jacket at a great price
This jacket is so gorgeous. I was extremely disappointed that it initially did not arrive in time for the meeting I was going to wear it to (I ordered the white specifically because it said it would arrive on time, and the black would not, so I was doubly disappointed that it was late!). I wore something else to the meeting and then received this jacket after, fully intending to just send it right back on principle -- but when I opened it up and tried it on, I fell in love immediately. I'm even going to go ahead and give it the full 5 stars because I am reviewing the product, not my shipping experience (although I feel that the buyer should be aware that it may ship late!). The jacket is of fantastic quality and looks and feels like something you would pay a LOT more for. I'm really impressed. I was a little worried that the white might be a true white, which doesn't look great with my coloring, but it's a very subtle, very light ivory type color. It has just a bit of warmth to it, and it also looks super classy because of this. The construction of the jacket is excellent. The buttons are high quality and don't look cheap. The fabric is of very good quality and the jacket is fully lined. It includes functional pockets. There is enough weight to it that it feels substantial, but not too heavy or like I will get too hot in it. It comes out of the bag with very, very few wrinkles -- you could absolutely just throw it on and go, although I will probably steam mine a bit before wearing. I usually wear a small in most clothes, but I ordered the medium and it is the perfect fit. Small would have been too small because the arms are narrower than your typical garment -- they are just the right size but would have been uncomfortably tight in a small. The body of the jacket is a bit bigger than the arms, but I was looking for a slightly looser fit anyway (the way it's pictured on the model) and with the medium, this is achieved. I am 5'6" and about 135 pounds, for reference. I would expect to pay at least $100 for this jacket and go up from there, so I'm really pleased that I got it for $43. I will get a lot of use out of this. I'm a little bummed that I didn't just order the black, but I really love the white and I don't want two of the same exact jacket, so I'm going to stick to this one. I love it that much! Read more
