The fabric is woven, so it has no stretch, given that it is constructed to have more structure. The waistband is stretchy and features a drawstring pull. The pockets are ample for carrying a few things when needed. The color is a deep, rich brown, reminiscent of coffee. It is flattering to the body and definitely has the look of Free People-inspired culotte shorts I was eyeing. It is an excellent dupe for the Menorca Slouchy Capris, making it a good alternative. The only disappointment was that the fabric was mislabeled for the brown shorts. I also ordered a white pair, which was made from 100% cotton. It has the same structure, but the fabric is softer. Very very cute, fit cozy but should’ve gotten an xl from the start . I’m 5ft 1in 175lbs. Nice color durable, pockets are standard. Fabric is similar to men’s swim trunks but thicker so these might be too heavy on a day over 85 degrees. Read more
