Cute, but not elegant.
I love the style of this sweater, especially for fall (if we ever have fall weather and don’t go straight from summer to winter, that is) but it’s not quite as nice as pictured. I’d say it’s true to size, not oversized- it fits well. But the fabric is thinner than I’d like and it feels a little scratchy against the skin after being worn for a while. The main issue though are that the strips of fabric that create the design on the arms are not sewn together in the middle where they cross over, so the design doesn’t stay in place and looks a little sloppy. (See my pic.) I will still wear it because I don’t mind it looking a bit disheveled, but to call this sweater elegant as they do in the title is *in my opinion* a bit of a stretch. Read more
