I have several CIMUK skirts. They are normally true to size and have a nice, flattering fit. But not this one! This one looked too big (even though it was the same size as the others) and the bottom was uneven. Essentially it just didn't look great. Instead the CIMUK skirt that I like better here on Amazon is the - Women's Denim Skirt High Waist Raw Hem Pockets Stretch Bodycon Pencil Skirt Knee Length Jean Skirts. It has "bodycon" in the name and I don't normally wear "body con clothes", but because denim is forgiving, I looked pretty darn decent in that one. So don't judge CIMUK on this skirt alone. Try the other one instead. :) Read more
This skirt is awesome. Fits true to size. I sized up and got a medium and it's low-waisted--a loose fit, which still looked cute and was comfortable. The skirt is more A-line than pencil, which I like. If you want a slimmer look, go for your size. The fabric is somewhat soft, being mostly cotton, but stiff enough to have shape. I wore this skirt around the house and out, even while on a scooter, which definitely got me some funny looks! (Sorry for the blurry photo, but it gives the gist of the wearability of the skirt). I like the fringe, too; thought it might look corny and realized it just made the skirt look more organic and less boxy. The sewing is decent; seams inside aren't covered, but they didn't bother me, although I did have to adjust the skirt a bit when I sat down so the seams didn't dig into my butt. I think this one is a great buy, you can wear it all-year-round. Also, the big pockets rule! Read more

This is a really well made skirt, as far as I can tell so far, unfortunately it runs a little small, so even though I sized up it's a bit too small. :( Very disappointed. Since I can't try on "web" clothes I always go up 1-4 sizes, depending on their size chart, it's much easier to alter clothes smaller than trying to make them bigger (and not currently in my know how.) Like the color, good firm stitching, nice buttons, (the button holes are rather snug, but at least they shouldn't come undone just by sitting down), pockets in front and two small back pockets too, and belt loops in case you want to use them. Nice length, I think, but I do prefer most of my skirts below the knee (like I think this one is, at least at my 5'2"). The skirt leg area isn't super tight so if you had to / wanted to, I think you might still be able to run in this, even if you might need to hike it up a little. Good item, just consider sizing up. This is a very cute denim skirt. I like the unfinished hem and the button front. I washed it in cold water and threw it in the dryer and didn't notice any shrinkage. I ordered the M although the measurements suggested a S. (waist 30, hips 36) I'm glad I ordered the M because it has room to move. Read more

The media could not be loaded. The moral of a skirt that doesn't fit around the waist was probably meant to be a shawl anyway. Especially, this buttoned jean skirt. It isn't true to size as a 2XL (This skirt runs small) and is more petite than I expected. Because the waistline area is a slim fit, the conversion to a shawl instead was simply reversing how to button it. This jean skirt is versatile because it is a sheet of jean material with pockets and buttons. I am not discouraged about not wearing it as it was made to be worn. I've discovered a new fashionable way in it. 😁 Read more
