The material feels solid and well-made, advertised as “cotton blended denim,” which suggests a comfortable mix of durability and breathability. The light-wash color matches the listing and looks good in person. When it comes to fit, though, the vest felt a bit off. While the overall size seemed true to expectation, it was strangely snug around and below the waist, which made layering uncomfortable. In terms of quality, the stitching and fabric seem decent. The comfort is moderate while also being versatile, which is good for lightweight layering in spring or fall, though not ideal for colder weather. Overall, I’d give this vest four stars. I appreciate that this vest comes in larger size options, which is a big plus. Unfortunately, the fit just doesn't work. Instead of a casual, versatile vest, it ends up just not fitting correctly. The arm holes are to large and show to much. It looks cropped, which isn’t very flattering. I definitely will not wear it without a shirt underneath it. 4.5 actually! This is cute. It's way out of my comfort zone, but cute. I didn't give it 5 stars because I could not wear it without a shirt underneath it. The armpit gaps show way too much bra for that. It also is very low cut on me. It fits, but feels snug across the bust area (to where I was having claustrophobic fits when I wore it today...just aggravated easily, but it could have been the oppressive humidity too.). Also, the stitching down one side (not the one pictured) seems a little awkward. Like there is material sticking up from the stitch. All of this being said, it's cute. I teach teens and preteens and they affirmed that it's cute and I felt pretty confident while wearing it, even though it is not something I would normally pick. Plus POCKETS! We ladies never have sufficient pockets, so I appreciate this vest has two deep ones. Next, I will wear it with a white tee and black in pants. That's a good sign that it is versatile and I am already planning it's next wear. Read more

I got this vest in a size larger than I usually wear (small) because I wanted to wear it with sweaters as well as tees. This is a big disappointment. It's shapeless, the armholes are overly large and it doesn't look like the picture at all. A friend who is a medium tried it on and had the same complaints. I can't and won't wear it either with tee-shirts or with sweaters. Read more
