This is a great backless crop tank that works well under clothes or on its own. It’s double lined but you can hardly tell but it makes it nicely opaque so you can’t see any colored bra or skin underneath. It works well with or without a bra, and holds nicely for anyone smaller chested (like me lol) without feeling constricting or too loose which I love. It’s just right and it does go high and covers the collarbone but doesn’t restrict your neck at all, it feels just snug against the chest. It’s breathable but holds the body well without being too tight, so it’s fitted in just the right way. I advise sizing up for more comfort if you are indecisive, but get your size if you like the snug fit and are comfortable with the crop. I can wear this to sleep without it being uncomfortable which is how I gauge most fitted clothes’ comfort especially with this being a tank and it’s wonderful with most bottoms, either pants, shorts or skirts. The open back gives a bit of sexiness with the front being nice and modest, almost like a “business in the front, party in the back” vibe lol. Great tank and great material, works well on its own if you want the real backless look, but if you need to wear a bra, try to find a front closure one in black so it’s seamless and looks nice in the back. Again this is cropped and made as such so it is designed to ride up/be short, so if you want anything to cover the belly, I advise finding a highwaisted bottom and/or getting a size up to give slightly more belly coverage. Super cute, comfortable top! I wanted this top because of the backless look but I ended up loving boatneck front too! The fabric is buttery soft but there is a bit of a sheen to it (which I assume is the elastane). It is a 76% Polyamide & 24% elastane blend. I blame myself for not purchasing the right size; I bought a LARGE but really would have been better with an XL. None the less this will still look cute under a blazer. I am 5'9 / 210lbs. Usually wear a size 12 or 14 top. A standard bra will show with its backless design. The description says it's cropped but I didn't find it to be excessively short. The LARGE measured 17" from armpit to armpit and is 21.5" from top of shoulder to bottom hem. I also love that it's tagless so it never gets scratchy. It's a no brainer for the price. Love it!
