Exceptional quality. Fits perfectly: uses the size guide. Very heavy boots! You’ve got to break them in as the leather is a little stiff. Very comfortable. TL,DR: They creak, probably because I broke into them with a poor fit. They're cool, and they'll last (but be aware they're not great for your feet). Both boots squeak/creak in parts of the tongue. They were like this since they arrived and I've had them since Nov 2022, 13+ months now. Adding oil/powder/wax helps for a short time. Also, these are also bad for your foot structure, considering the narrow toe box and inflexible sole. Oh well, they're cool and go with so many styles of outfits. Actually, I wear them a lot, and they've gotten scuffed up in an I-actually-use-this-expensive-thing-I-bought sort of way. A polish would hide it. They'll last. In case this helps someone with sizing, I'm a size 6 and slightly flat-footed. The size 6 fits besides the too-tall throat of the shoe. I added cheap heel-height-boosting, arch-supporting insoles, about 3/4", and the laces don't bunch the leather together now. .. I'll be honest, the creaking might be because I broke into these with the tongue squished. Read more

Used socks were in the pair when I got them, even though I bought them new. I wouldn’t mind receiving a pair that was barely used and returned, but this was not made clear in the description and receiving shoes with used socks in them is not ideal, to say the least. This seemed like a glaring quality control issue, as anyone who did a thorough check on the boots after a return would’ve noticed. Other than that issue, I love the boots! These are my first pair of Docs and they’re exactly what I wanted. I am usually a 6-6.5 in shoe length, and I sized down because the width will get roomier but the length is perfect. Breaking them in will be tough, especially at the tongue seam, but I’m patient! Read more
