I've been wearing a pair of wine-colored yoga pants on trips to the office lately as my new job is relatively casual. I got these as an alternative. The fabric is pretty much like a yoga pant but the pockets and wide legs give them more of a trouser look. I'm 5'0" and 115 lbs and got the small. They fit well, of course too long, but should be fine with a low heel. I do wish they came in different lengths. I do a lot of walking when I go on work trips and these should work well for that. The one thing I wish is that the fabric was a little nicer, more of a silky look and feel as opposed to cottony as that would look a little dressier. I'd call this sort of a flared ponte pant.
