This A-line dress is exactly what I was looking for in a work outfit. The fabric has a nice amount of stretch, so it’s comfortable enough to wear all day without feeling tight or restrictive, but it still holds its shape and looks polished. This is a nice dress with a classic, easy style—the kind you can throw on and feel put together without much thought. I sized up based on the size chart (because brands vary so wildly—one day I’m a small, the next I’m a XL, and who really knows anymore), and it does run a little large. Luckily, it still drapes nicely and stays flattering rather than looking oversized. The buttons are the one detail I’m not completely sold on—they’re fine, just not my favorite. Overall, it’s an easy all-day wear and versatile enough to work beyond the office, even with a small design quirk. For reference: I’m 5'6", 36B, 27-inch waist, very curvy size S/M–6/8.
