The media could not be loaded. Ordered this dress to try and avoid spending $100+ on a bridesmaid dress. Was not made for my body type (6ft/36B/29”waist/40”hips) and had construction issues. Pros: fabric color and feel is actually pretty nice Cons: the bust construction is strange, the gathering is placed very close to the center so will not accommodate most body types; not cut on the bias so the stretch is weird over the hips and gaps at waist; would be maxi maybe up to 5’8”; mine came with a tear where the bodice joins the skirt by the zipper, so quality and longevity is a concern. Overall I probably would suggest someone try this dress, i image it would be very pretty on the right body type! This satin dress was absolutely perfect for my surprise hula dance for my husband! The material had that perfect silk-like feel—soft, smooth, and just the right thickness so nothing showed through. There’s not much stretch, but the fit was spot-on so I didn’t need it. Unfortunately a horrible dress poorly sewn, terrible quality fabric and a super awkward cut :/ dress had a loose seam under the Brest section and tension of the seams were uneven causing weird and awkward bulging of seams, the fabric was literally stained by water, did not even get past steaming the dress before I had an issue, but you can NOT steam the dress because the fabric will never ever let go of a wrinkle without doing so, and don’t even think about wearing it in the summer because sweat would without a doubt show up, and there is a seam that’s not very viable in the photos that goes diagonally below the hips and goes all around, boy is that the weirdest thing ever, and makes it look like it doesn’t fit no matter what!! The color of this dress is amazing! The fit is gorgeous! It needs to be steamed before you wear it but it doesn’t wrinkle during the night. There is no stretch, you just slip into it. The back is very low. I had to have mine altered and was able to loop to go around my strap. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This dress was true to size and elegant looking. It definitely is snug, but not uncomfortable.
