Since the dress is made from a single layer of material, it is not super thick. Surprisingly though, it still is warm to wear. I am 5’6”, weighing 148 lbs with a 27-inch waist. In this dress, I ordered a medium, and it fits PERFECTLY. So I would say order your normal size since it’s true to size. The shoulders are tight to keep it from falling, so if you have broader shoulders, I would recommend sizing up. It’s a bodycon dress, so it is very form-fitting but hugs your body in all the right places. Since the material is not very thick though, it doesn’t hide anything on the body. So keep that in mind when purchasing this. Aside from that though, it’s such a classy and elegant dress that is timeless. You truly can wear this dress for years to come, and it never goes out of style. The combination of the bell sleeves and silver eyelets elevates this otherwise simple black dress.
