This cardigan is actually made of a heavier material and feels higher quality than most you'd find in typical big box stores. It's stiff, yet has a softer feel while being thick and stretchy. This would pair well with a pair of jeans and t-shirt or even with a dress and boots. The black is bold without seeming washed out. Overall, this multifunctional cardigan works well with practically my whole closet! Read more
My wife noticed the Fall light weight sweater coat and thought it would be a great alternative to her long crochet sweaters or heavier coats. The knit sweater is both lighter than her longer coats and warmer than her crochet sweater coat providing a better polished look to her appearance when wearing. She enjoys the comfort and warmth when wearing it. She also feels the sweater/coat dresses up her overall look. I agree and encourage her to wear it more often. As far as value, I would have preferred the cost be a little lower, but if it makes your significant other happy, it's worth the little extra cost. Read more
The media could not be loaded. To start off, there's a resounding echo in feedbacks here, regarding the make of this jacket, that it is solid, firm, sturdy, and cozy. I didn't encounter the stretchy aspect of it as those who have pointed it out, but I've only tried it on, not wore it out. Yes, I felt it has some give, it's not stiff, it moves along with you, if you pull at it to check for its stretch it'll go along with you. It gives off a sense of bouncyness, I just don't see it as stretchy in the way others emphasize it To me that'll be leggings. Because, it holds its form, unless you're an acrobat and popping cartwheels in your steps to create stretch/stretched out of shape, to only bring it back to shape after a wash. I'm not at all concerned about the washing machine ruining it. One, reviewer attests to doing so, with no issues. You, must always take into count the fabric with how it has been "constructed." Construction of the fabric is the cause of durability. I'd say, this seems to be in the pointe knit family. It doesn't dilapitate to then require water to reel it back into shape, it remains structured. Viscose has been around over decades and I love that fabric. I first learned of it decades back when I purchased from a catalog and since, I've kept a favorable eye out for this fabric. Viscose is a very thin lightweight material and this is why I really believe they claim it to be lightweight! Now, this also contains a small amount of nylon as well, which has no lycra, spandex, or elastine. But, nylon is a synthetic with an inherantl tendency to give off strechy-ness, that's about all. Not only because of its construction but also because of its straigh cut, the fold over lapel, the big but laying flat pockets, and it's length. Most definitely I as well as the others, have been perplexed as to why it is stated to be lightweight, which is not, not at all. Not, to say it's gonna hunker you down, but it has heft to it. Which, I believe is one of the reasons giving it a look of classy (some of us say), elegant ( another said), possibly even sophisticated. These, are why it is an attire for the professional at the office. I personally didn't imagine it to be dressed down to a casual look, now that I read reviewers suggestions, I will definitely try it on for a size on me. However you dress it, you will reach for this jacket once the cold chills your bones, this is bound to last you a very long time. It can't be denied it's of good quality, proper cutting, and lenght. Arms on me are a perfect length, view my photos. Shoulders have good lines and a well fit. Read more

Here are the many reasons I recommend this sweater: 1. The fabric…who knows what PBT is? I didn’t, so I did some research. It is a type of polyester fiber known as for its excellent stretch and recovery, durability, comfort, UV resistance, light fastness, and versatility. Blended with viscose and nylon you have a super stretchy, very comfortable, durable material. It has a beautiful drape and there is a slight texture, which I attempted to show in my close up photo. The only con with this fabric is that it needs to be hand washed. (Not what I like to do in my spare time.) 2. The style…can be casual or dressed up. It looks good with joggers and clogs, boots, and wide leg jeans. I could also envision this jacket paired with a dress or skirt. 3. The quality…this sweater jacket has a high end feel with good finishing touches. It could easily sell for twice the price in some of the stores I like to shop at. 4. Versatility…because it’s is so comfortable, this would be the perfect jacket for traveling. It would look nice going out to eat and professional enough to wear to work for many people. Thoughts on sizing…I am typically a size 10 or 12. I bought the large size and it fits me perfectly. For reference, I am 5’6” and about 165 pounds. I am so pleased with this lovely, high quality sweater. Read more

I’m really pleased with this coat overall! The material is beautifully textured and the high-neck and longline style give it a polished, sophisticated look. The stitching and construction feel solid — pockets, lapels, and overall finishing are good quality. I ordered my usual size (small) and the fit through the shoulders and body was comfortable without being too bulky. It looks great on — I felt put-together and confident wearing it. The length hits nearly mid-thigh on me, lending an elongated silhouette that works especially well with slim pants or leggings. One thing to note: because it’s a longline style, it quite literally is long — if you’re petite, this coat will extend further down your legs than shown in catalog shots. Also the sleeves and body do have a relaxed fit, so if you’re layering bulky sweaters underneath you might find it a bit snug in the arms or shoulders. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for a dressier outer layer — just be sure to check the length and layerability if you’re shorter or plan to wear heavy layering underneath. Read more
