My wife is petite at 5’ 2” and frequently wears XS clothing. We ordered the size small because XS wasn’t offered. The sweater is nicely made. The fabric has a good feel to it and the buttons are great looking. My wife found it bulky and a bit like wearing a cape. We had our daughter try it on, as she’s taller and not as petite. It fit her well and she thought it was very comfortable. Even for my petite wife, it’s a nice sweater for curling up on the sofa on a wintry day. Fun, boxy knit sweater with a cozy feel and good comfy weight. The fabric, stitching, and buttons are good quality and it is just the right warmth level for fall or even for wearing indoors on a chilly day. Grey Old Lady Teacher Sweater — 11/23/2025 Because every Language Arts teacher seems to dress the same, I figured I might as well join the club. Unfortunately, this sweater had other plans. I ordered a large, and not only was it tight across my very small bust, but it was also short on my torso, so I looked like I had borrowed a child’s sweater for Spirit Week. This sweater has varied-stitch knitting, which gives it a delicate and stylish look. I really like the color, “Natural Skin Tone,” which can be easily paired with other colors. The buttons have a long, saber-tooth shape, which were a little tricky to button up at first but certainly doable, and their dark color also gives the sweater good contrast. There is a nice hood too. The fabric is made of a complimentary blend of 42% Acrylic, 32% Polyester, and 26% Nylon that gives it a soft, flexible, and warm feel. Read more
This is such a beautiful and flattering sweater! It is a nice and thick and very warm! I love the stylish buttons and the texture of the knit on the sweater. It makes it look and feel much more expensive then it really is. The hood is great for extra warmth as well. I ordered a medium and it definitely runs small, especially the length of the arm sleeves. I am not tall in any way and this rides above my wrists even stretched out. When washing the sweater it did not shrink so that was nice. Just be sure to order a size up and wash per instructions and you should be fine! Read more
