So…this boomer has a confession: Fabulous. Just fabulous. I wore this sweater with the faux leather pants in the picture to the grocery store. A young very sweet Muslim female employee was walking ahead of me in the parking lot pushing a large tiered cart that she had just used to bring groceries to a customer. She had helped me locate products in the past. Anyway she was ahead of me as we were walking. But she turned very abruptly and said, “I looove your outfit!” I replied, “I always like seeing you. You are kind. Now we have known each other for years.” She smiled and said yes After this interaction, it occurred to me that this is a very stylish outfit that conservative religious women could wear. Depending on how conservative they are, they may need to wear a turtle neck. It would look fabulous with either a black or white turtle neck but a white one would make his outfit pop more. This unique sweater looks so much better on than I expected. I ordered a small and am pleased with the fit and length. The sleeves are tapered at the wrist and longer which adds to the casual style. The soft material makes it cozy and comfy enough to wear on its own against bare skin. I paired mine with jeans and love the look. It will definitely get a lot of wear this fall and winter. The black is a deep dark color highlighted with the pop of white flowers and white trim adding detail and interest. It's well made and should hold up with wear. I wanted to like this so much as it looks super cute. The fit is a bit strange to me. I purchased small as it is the usual size but overall the garment seems more like a med or large. This sweater is absolutely adorable and is unique in style and fit. I am 5’5, 119 pounds and ordered a size small. It fits me exactly how it looks on the model in the promo photos. It is a bit oversized and slouchy in the best trendy way. You can wear it both as a cardigan or as a regular sweater. I will be wearing it a regular sweater.
