I liked the fit and loved the mandala-like print but I was extremely disappointed by the color. The photo gives the impression that the color was mostly muted shades of brown & tan, but the actual product is very vibrant and pinkish-orange is what stands out. It isn’t ugly but it’s not for me. I fully understand that colors vary slightly on different monitors so I looked on 3 different devices before buying and the overall impression on each was that it is brown & tan and not pinkish-orange. I included a side-by-side photo comparison with a section of the Amazon photo on the left and a similar section of what I received on the right. My photo is not quite right either (there should be more peach in the light parts) but it’s the best I could do. Now that I know the size fits the way I want (not tight), I will look for a different print and color. UPDATE: I next ordered the “Star Whole Sky” pattern and it didn’t work for me either, unfortunately. I have a set of slightly longer black boy shorts and wanted a tankini with some black in it. The original had enough black, but the other colors were too orangey. This one looked like it might have a black background and straps in the photo but the background is actually dark blue in person. The straps may be either black or very dark navy — hard to tell — but either way, the blue background (with no black in it at all) doesn’t look right with my black shorts so I have to return this one, too. Again, very nice quality. It’s just the colors in person that bother me. If I wasn’t already so uncomfortable being seen in a bathing suit, I probably would’ve kept the first one because at least it matched my shorts. Read more
I ordered 2 of these tops for our family beach trip. I am older, 67, 5ft 2”, 143lbs , with a muffin top that I’m determined to hide. The medium, 8-10 fit perfect. This top was so comfortable and good, lightweight fabric. I usually wear Lands end bathing suits which are a heavier fabric. The colors are very vibrant and true to the picture. The length of the top fell perfect for my swim skirt. I would definitely order more. One of my tops accidentally got put in the dryer and it still fit perfect. Sorry no pictures of me were taken. Never bought a bathing suit without trying on, let alone thought I’d be giving it 5 stars. This top fit so perfectly that I’m still in shock! The size chart was accurate which is rare, because they run either too big or too small. This was so comfortable, and flattering. I plan on buying more. Very well made, and washes well . Read more
I’ve been looking for a tankini top for a long time now. I bought another kind with ruching (horizontal gathering) around the stomach area. My stomach is still relatively flat and I didn’t like the gathers, which seem to be popular now. The cosmic bubble design of this top is really cute and the a-line shape is very flattering. The background color and straps are dark blue. The medium fit me perfect perfectly, as I’m 36” around, even though I’m small cupped. The material is soft, doesn’t have an odor and the elastic under the breast area is not too tight. I’m really excited and hope that it wears well over time. Hats off to the designers of this one! Update — I purchased a second one in black! Wish I had done that sooner and not purchased some other tops that weren’t as flattering or comfortable. The black tankini seems a little bit shorter than the cosmos blue, which I like. Read more
