True to size and wide foot friendly. Look amazing and far more comfortable than anticipated. I also have calves that border on needing wide calf. Can almost always get into regular boots but sometimes choose a wider option if I want more room. These are not wide calf specific but fit quite comfortably and could still be so with a slightly wider calf. The inside of the leg is a thick scuba like material and has some stretch to it giving it a good amount of give. The only thing I can see being a problem with a true wide calf is it riding down as you walk and possibly end up walking on the fold over material which would cause damage easily. Read more

As someone with a former foot injury, I DO NOT PLAY when it comes to shoes, ESPECIALLY boots. If I can’t walk in them, they’re not coming home with me. I bought the boots in Brown, I’m a size 9-9 1/2, and I got the 9 1/2, they fit perfectly! I have a size 16 calf and the calf circumference of the boot exceeds that so there is plenty of room to tuck in skinny jeans or legwarmers or thick winter tights etc. The boot material although it is a faux leather feels exactly like real leather and I should know most of my boots are designer real leather boots but I gotta say they’re not nearly as comfortable as these boots. These have a slight western type heel and they’re low, so they’re very easy to walk in and very comfortable, which is extremely important to me. Absolutely yes for the price point. I love a designer boot, but have learned I can be hard on boots and shoes, so I’m always looking for a great deal…found these & had high hopes and they delivered. The back can be long and possibly drag the ground, but to me that is such an easy fix with them being easy to fold to the length you want then secure them without being visible to the eye…I honestly think you could probably even use a double sided tape and decide the exact length you want depending on outfit and where you are going. I don’t have thick calves but I like things that fit loose, so they wide fit was a bonus or you could even scrunch them down for a different look. They seem to be extremely comfortable and fit perfect for me so very true to size as many boots can be too short if they have a more pointed toe. I also love that they don’t have a “high heel” like so many do, so I feel like they will be wearable for extended lengths of walking and standing. I can’t comment on durability as I haven’t worn them “out” yet but will update after they adventure with me on my next trip. I think it’s a score and I think you will too! I was obsessed with the look of these boots. SO comfy. I wore them for NYE fresh out of the box & had NO pain all night. However, it is the next day, & they look like they were put through a wood chipper. I literally wore them ONE evening at a party but it looks like I wore through on rocky gravel.
