These are a bright gold boot, just what I was looking for. Boots run true to size and not too narrow either. I am almost always a women's size 8M in street shoes. I ordered size 8 and they were perfect. Far more comfortable than expected. I wore them right out of the box to a holiday party where I was on my feet a lot. Ordered the gold color, it looks as pictured. The gold is a rich deep color, not bright and highly yellow. Worked perfectly for the matching the gold in my dress. Boot has a light lining and runs true to size. I have a wide foot with a high instep. I ordered 1 size larger to accommodate for this and the boot fit fine. Wore it for a party and had it on for about 5 or 6 hours and it was comfortable.Boot zips up the back, not on the inside. Also, I have big legs and usually will order a wide calf boot if available. This one was just barely able to zip completely, but it made it. I wore pantyhose with the boot. No hesitation about buying it. The one thing I did not like is that the zipper is white. I'm 5'9" and long-waisted so these boots aren't quite knee-high on me, but they're quite tall and the shiny gold material is fun and attractive. I don't love that it doesn't have any materials tags or embossing, but according to the listing the sole is rubber and the upper is polyurethane (fake leather). The lining is soft and comfy. I got the size 8.5 and they fit as I expect them to. The zipper goes all the way down to right above the heel so they are easy to put on. The only challenge I had is that at my age my calves are a lot thicker than they used to be, so I had to be careful when I got the zipper near the top to make sure I didn't catch my skin in the zipper! The boots seem comfortable to wear, though it's months away from being cool enough for me to wear anything out other than sandals in the desert. The media could not be loaded. These are a nice comfortable knee-high pair of boots. They are made with a rubber sole and the outside material is made with a polyurethane. The heel of the boot is approximately 1.8 inches and I love the zipper fashion of these boots. They feel and look to be of high-quality, and I will say that they got me on this one and threw me for a loop because once I unzipped them to try them on, I was pleasantly surprised to see that they have a very fuzzy inside material. I thought honestly that these would be hard to stay warm in if I were to wear them in the winter, but they are actually very warm feeling and I didn’t want that sticky feeling of the polyurethane. You would definitely have to find the right outfit for the color that I got. They kind of remind me of space shoes, but I know that me being me, I will make them look great with one of my outfits. When it does come to the quality and the steadiness of this boot, I would have to say that it is very well made and having a pair of boots that are comfortable is always important.
