I've been trying to use more natural fibers in my wardrobe, but it's hard to find just cotton or cotton/spandex blends these days. Everything seems to have modal or polyester in it. So this was a good find. The fabric is thick and soft. I don't usually like ribbed knits because they are too clingy and unflattering, but I agree with the listing that this one is flattering even if you feel like your body is not "perfect." The high neck is not something I usually wear either but this one is not tight and doesn't bother me at all. If you want to show off your shoulders it's a great option. You can work out in this or dress it up a little more. I did cut out both the tag at the back of the neck and the one inside the left side as they were scratchy and awful. It would be great if they could change to using printed on tags instead. At least they were easy to remove without damaging the shirt. The only thing I didn't really understand is the washing instructions say not to rub the fabric or tumble dry. The tag also says it resists stains, which I didn't really understand if it's only cotton and lycra. Is there some kind of coating or treatment on it that is not disclosed? Or are these instructions just to be conservative about preserving the fibers? I would also like to see them link some kind of third party report where the consumer can trace back the origin of the cotton if it is really climate friendly. I'm just deducting one star for the lack of clarity and transparency here. Anyway, I hope they come out with more colors because overall it feels like a really nice quality item and I would buy more from this company. Read more
