I'm really impressed with the quality of this vest, and I'm talking about the vest specifically. It's really well made; it's flattering on me, it's got style, it's lightweight, the seams are perfect, the zippers are smooth. It can be used as a regular vest and for that it's perfect. (Though I wish it came in colors besides black.) The battery pack is HEH-VEE. Much heavier than I expected, and much heavier than it has to be. At this price (currently $150) there's no reason to use a clunky old battery. When it's in one pocket the vest pulls down on that side and I feel a bit unbalanced. The vest heats up pretty evenly and it does last for hours. I was able to stay warm through a cold night out that included some very tame "tailgating" and a high school football game. I have some heated socks and at their lowest heat level it's way too hot leaving the bottom of my feet burning and the tops freezing. This vest doesn't have that problem and the lowest setting is toasty and the highest setting is very warm. It takes 2-3 hours to fully charge the battery and it lasts at least 6 on medium/high heat. The button to operate it are on the chest and convenient to use. They include a cute little green plaid flannel bag I guess to store it in, but I'll be hanging the vest in the closet and leaving the battery pack in the office. I'll find something else to do with the little bag. I have head over heels with this beautiful vest! I have severe dysautonomia so my core body temperature goes between 93- 96° all day long. Warmth is a must for me, any time of the year. This heated vest works miracles for keeping my body warm and my blood circulating properly which intern reduces my anxiety and just makes me feel better all the time. I picked this vest specifically for a few reasons. The first reason was that it had 10 heating zones which is more than other vests in the same price category. The second reason is that it goes farther down your back and front so the heat doesn't stop at your waistline which in turn keeps your body warmer! But what really sold me on this was the fit! It is well fitted for a woman's body whether you have curves or a more athletic build. This vest in the proper size is going to fit you perfectly. I got mine so it would be snug because I like the feeling of the quilt and puffiness against my body as well. The fit is perfect and I've had zero problems with the heating elements. The battery was small and compact and charges quickly and so far does work as expected. Whether I'm inside or outside in 10° weather (so far) this vest keeps me warm and I can't always leave it on high because it does get really warm, lol! The material is high-quality and the quilted parts remain puffy throughout use. I have had a little trouble with the zipper on occasion. Sometimes it just gets stuck but with careful finagling it will go up all the way. Keep in mind I did order this vest to fit very snuggly so it could just be me causing the issue with the zipper. If there was one thing I could change about the vest it would be the location of the battery. It doesn't bother me physically, but aesthetically it does add an inch and a half to my waistline on one side. It's also a little bit awkward with a seatbelt when you're driving. I currently have three heated vests and this one is my absolute favorite. I realize it may seem expensive for just a vest but comparably it is well priced, and it is just a higher end product. There is no part of this vest that leaves you cold! I wanna end this with talking about versatility of this heated vest. Not only is it going to keep you warm, but in my opinion, it replaces heating pads. It wraps around you and you don't have to look for the cord to adjust the heat level settings. It's right there on your chest. It's visual with three different colors for the three different temperatures so there's no mistaking the level you've set it to, and it's cordless; it's a dream come true! The vest is great in every aspect with the exception of one. You can choose front or back or both to heat up. Your whole core can be kept warm. You also have the choose of 3 temperature modes. The vest itself is excellently made. The issue I have with it is that the battery pack is heavy and bulky. The pocket where it battery pack is located is on the side about waist level. So when zipped up there is this bulge that is not flattering especially if you are a little big like me.
