Love the stretchy lined hiking pants. The i got the small (5'3" 128). They were a little long, but ok with shoes. However, with first wash they shrunk up maybe an inch+? Worked for me. I liked that the back pocket flaps lay flat, even after a wash. Loving these so much that after my visit hiking Manchu Picchu, I'm going to use them at the gym as they're as stretchy as as gym tights. I purchased these in size XL as a gift which is the same size of previous yoga pants purchases. These were not only too large, but the fit was strange. Even with pants that are too large, you can see that they may be too big in the thighs or waist, etc. These pants were large in those areas yet in other unexpected areas, the fabric bunched up. It didn't smooth out or lay flat. Almost like there was too much extra material. The material felt a bit stiffer and thicker. This is a nice thick pair of cargo sweatpants with multiple pockets. All of the cargo pockets close with actual buttons, pretty cute. There are 2 open hand pockets also on the side of the leg right below the waistband. I like these because they’re right where my hands go naturally. While thick, the pants aren’t fleece lined which makes them more useful across other seasons. I have the small and I’m 5’6” 120 lbs. they aren’t snug at all and they hit just a hair short on me, but I have a very short waist and a long inseam for my size. Still cute and functional, especially for my chilly morning dog walks. I prefer a waistband like this with no drawstring and they’re getting harder to find - this waist is just like a pair of yoga pants, very comfy and stretchy. The material has a tiny bit of sheen but not shiny like some black pants can be. Nice flared legs at the bottom. While my body is cut straight up and down and these fit just fine, I think they would flatter a curvier body even better. And you can’t say that about all pants! Read more
I am 5'2", 155lbs give or take. I 1st ordered Large, but returned for a Med. L was a little too loose. My office is always cold - I've begun wearing these to work - and they are glorious. The flare at the bottom is between yoga and bellbottom - a little more flare that I'd like, but still tolerable. My ONLY real complaint is - I want MORE COLORS to choose from!!
