I was really excited to get a chance to review these boots as I do not wear any leather products. I did order an 8 1/2 versus a size 8 as it is noted to order up a half a size as they do run small. It's really hard to find non-leather boots that are stylish, have beautiful stitching, are made well and just overall are a great boot and these fit the bill. The inside of the boots are actually lined and are very thick and do not feel cheap at all. It should be noted that these boots do have a wide calf as noted in the description. I had about a 2 inch gap between my leg and the boot itself, however, I don't mind that because it gives room to move around. I wore these boots out to dinner the other night, and the only downside is they're not the most comfortable boots in the world. So sometimes you sacrifice comfort for style lol. I mean, don't us women do that more than we let on? The boots were quite easy to slip on and the zipper works really well, however, they are pretty tight around the top of the foot so when you're walking, there is not a lot of give. As noted they are not real leather and so sometimes you may have issues with the fabric itself stretching with you. However, like I said, I do not use leather products so it's a sacrifice I make! I have seen a lot of faux leather boots out there that just are made really cheap and the craftsmanship is just not a great quality, and these boots are the exact opposite. I think the greatest thing about these boots is you can actually dress them up or down. I wore them out one night with black leggings, an oversized, black shirt and a really cute vintage black purse. I actually got loads of compliments from my friends. You can also pair them with a cute denim skirt, or any skirt for that matter and there you go you have a great dressed up pair of boots. I also think the price point is excellent on these. Honestly, you would not really know that they were not real leather, they truly are beautiful. The only reason they did not get five stars is for the comfort, but you can't have everything now can you? Read more
