UPDATE: I've had these boots for only 3 months. I wear them about twice a week to an office job. I don't wear them to go hiking or do any strenuous activity in them. Unfortunately, the material is flaking off. I've never had this happen with boots beyond the usual scuffs, and never with boots this new. I contacted the seller thinking this was a defect. The seller did not offer any discount beyond what was already posted as the "sale" price on the listing. Too bad. I really love the style of these boots, but I would not recommend these them. ------------------------------------------ I wanted a stylish, flat heel knee-high boot. These are very comfortable - they feel like you're walking on a cloud - and they are not cheap or flimsy. They look nicely made. I tried ones in my size and half size larger since I have wide feet. My regular size was perfect in length, but too tight in width, so I stuck with the larger ones. I think they make my foot like a little big, but my friend didn't think so. They are definitely roomy, but not uncomfortably so. Even the larger ones felt a bit too tight at first, but as I walked around they gave just enough. I wore them all day at work with no issues. My calves are 15.5" at the widest point and I am able to zipper them over leggings. Read more
