These knee high boots are what you would expect for the price. They are on the narrower side, but fit well. The zipper works smoothly and makes it easy to slip them on. I feel confident that it will hold up well! They're cute with a skirt or dress, or a pair of leggings! I ordered these Women’s Knee High Boots Round Toe Chunky Heel Faux Leather Tall Riding Boots with Side Zipper for fall; I thought they would look great under my period costumes, especially my Victorian era riding habit. These boots are made from faux PU leather. The faux leather is flexible and comfortable to wear, but it is a bit shinier than I would prefer. I’m hoping with time these boots will dull slightly, but the very shiny appearance actually detracts from the look to me; they’re so shiny that they look a bit fake. I ordered these in a size 9.5; I usually wear a size 9, but I wanted a bit of extra room since I knew I would wear these in fall and winter. I wanted to be sure I had room for thicker tights or socks. I did buy these mostly for costume purposes, but I knew I’d wear them as regular fashion boots, too. I live in NYC; in winter, when it gets really cold, sometimes I layer thick socks over tights for extra warmth. The 9.5 is just what I wanted; they’re comfortable, with enough room for me to layer tights and even thick wooly socks. The boots have a stacked heel that’s about 3 1/4” tall; it’s sturdy and easy to walk on. The shaft circumference is slightly over 16”; this is bit bigger than I needed, but it allows me to layer tights or even leggings under the boots. My calf muscles are developed from years of fencing and these boots fit me fine with room to spare. I like the rounded toe; both the aesthetic and the fit. So many shoes and boots lately are super log and think even pointy. These boots have a nice, wide toe box; they’re comfortable for long term walking on city streets. The one thing I don’t love is the shiny quality, but since I got these to wear under the skirts of a period riding habit, it actually works out fine. The heel is a bit tall for accuracy, but I’m short (5’2”) and all you really see are the toes peeking out; these are just what I needed for my costume. These come in a square black pasteboard box; suitable for storage or gifting. The boots each have a thin fabric “baggie” wrap to protect them when they aren’t being worn. These also look great with tights and a skirt; they’re perfect for fall and the coming winter. While the heels are too high for me to wear these riding (and they’re a fashion boots, not made for equestrian use) they look great with my jodhpurs and a jacket. I like getting double use from these; they’re not just a costume piece for me. A nice addition to both my costume and personal wardrobe. Read more

These are very cute boots and comfy enough given the height of the heel. They look great over or under pant legs and dont get too hot. Its got plenty of grip on the soles so no sliding around. Also pretty light. The inner material gives me pause as it looks and feels cheap and easy to tear or deform. And one of the boots came with a divot in the toe that I can't seem to get out. Its not very obvious anymore, but now that I know its there I can't help but see it. Given all that these are still a nice pair of knee high boots with a sleek, classic look to them that give you lift and confidence. I look forward to going out in these. Read more
