I most definitely did not expect the feel of sole of this boot. It's rare to step down into a boot and feel something so plush, yet sturdy. These boots truly are made for walking. In a couple ways these are slightly reminiscent of the campus boot, but they still not be mistaken for them. The toe and heel, and height. But there is a zipper on one side, and a pattern on the other. I chose the butter color because quite a few years I had another pair and I wore them constantly. Since it has come up recently that the butter color is one of the trending colors for boots this year, figured it was a great time to give them a go again. I appreciate that these don't come off looking like PU, they do look like a leather boot. I went with my size and it is a spot on fit, I can wear them with a mid-weight sock. And they have a rubberized bottom making them very easy to walk in. And calf-wise, they seem to be around 17.5 inches circumference and there is a bit of elastic for some stretch if needed. Ultimately, cute boot, true to size, great color, wearable, very affordable, and wildy comfortable. If it seems like the calf will work, just choose a color and go with your regular size. These boots are soft, comfortable and very roomy. I have skinny calves so it you have larger calves, these boots were worn for you too! Love these boots! They fit true to size (I went a half size up to allow room for thicker socks), they’re comfortable, good quality, and very cute. I really love the color and design, which are pretty unique. The quality of these boots made it worth every dollar. The soles are very cushioned and it felt like i was walking on clouds! I liked the worn in color and style. These fit my wide calves easily, so I was happy! The only reason I dropped a star is because the ankles are really droopy. You can see in the photos where it looks loose and bunchy. These are extra good quality boots that looks like true cowhide leather. It's a color I generally don't see, not your normal brown, so having a pair of boots that you won't see a lot of women wearing definitely is in my favor. They're super flexible & soft with the perfect size height heel. They fit great and are so comfortable that I wore them all day long without any issues.
