Omg do I Love these boots !!! Yes!! They do run a bit large imo . I'm always a size 9 in boots , I ordered a size 9 and with my thickest socks there is still extra room , however not so much that I would return . I don't have a wide foot and there is plenty of extra room around my tiny thin ankles and skinny legs . So I do believe the wider size would work well for those ladies that have trouble finding boots that fit their calves without being skin tight or perhaps can't even get their calf in the boot . I didn't order a wide as I knew the boots would probably swallow my legs in the regular size. They are square toes unlike previously mentioned reviews that say they are round . I have a several pairs of Frye boots and these are fantastically perfect dupes, seriously ... side by side it's hard to pick the Frye boot ( unless you just know ) ! I bought these to wear in less desirable weather rather than wearing my expensive Frye boots- so at a fraction of the cost - I'm so very pleased! I absolutely love this color yellow - I mean just Gorgeous!! The boots are super comfortable. At 5'11" I love the heel height - it gives you a bit of a lift ( enough to make the bum look great ) but they are not too high to walk around comfortably all day and they are super easy to walk in . Solid heel and high quality soles! They are truly a beautiful and solid made boot ! Extremely easy to slip my foot into and did I mention that I love the color so much !!! So much !! My fav!! They look very retro and are just so stylish and look fabulous with anything really - they fit nicely and look awesome w/ my wide leg jeans , bell bottoms , boot cut and flare jeans . They fit very well under my jeans without looking at a huge bulge of an oversized boot . I'm sure they would look beautiful over skinny jeans too - I'm just not a huge fan of skinny jeans . The height is perfect for me at 5'11" and I'm all legs already but it does add just the perfect height - the boot stops just below my knee - which again gives that retro vibe to this gorgeous boot !! The material is super soft and seems high quality, definitely not cheap looking at all ! They say they are leather - I'm unsure if they really are but they do feel and look as tho they are real leather. I had them in my saved list and I bought them after Black Friday / prime days - as the price was lower after the prime deals than during them. So I feel for $40 I really got a heck of deal ! But , I do think they are worth every penny of the regular price of $60 ish USD and I would still buy them even if they were not on sale . I was really on the fence about these boots ( which is why they were in my list)! especially since I own a several Frye boots already - but I am beyond thrilled with these boots !!! I'm so happy I bought them and I highly recommend the boots ! I have since bought more colors and I can't wait to get them ! Honestly you just can't go wrong with these cool boots ! I'm excited to receive the other colors ! I think these are so unique and so hippy cool - retro in style and appearance- they just look extremely fashionable and I get more compliments on these boots then any others that I own ! I ordered the banana yellow and I freaking love this color !!!!! It is exactly as pictured ! They are just so retro -hippie looking and that is totally my style ! I can't wait to wear them with skirts and shorts ! I don't usually write reviews unless a item exceeds my expectations and these boots most definitely did just that and them some !! If you are on the fence - just buy them - I guarantee that you are going to love them !!! Very well made , high quality and I did not find even one imperfection! They were brand new - packaged so nicely is a great shoe box and they came with boot protectors to keep them from damages when storing . They look extremely expensive and extremely stylish and I feel they are made very well and will be highly durable and will last ages if they are taken care of well . Not one regret about this purchase - not even one ! These boots are by far one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon , maybe even the top best imo! I LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots ! TOP NOTCH !! As I said they do run a bit large - if you plan on wearing normal socks I would recommend sizing down - and if you don't want any extra room with thick winter wool socks - I would still size down a half a size . If you have thick calves - you definitely want to try the wide sizes - even tho I have a lot of extra room around my calves ( I have very skinny legs , tiny ankles and my foot is not wide) but not so much they look odd . But I have a very hard time finding boots that are even close to my calf size - very few have ever even been snug much less too tight . These fit as any other boot would. I could have worn an 8.5 with no problem . But I'm keeping these because they aren't that big with thick socks and i don't want deal with returns ! Ha ha However, I the ordered boots in many more colors in a size 8.5 so I will review that size and the others as well once I receive them . I will also update this review and add photos too . I am thrilled with my new boot boots 🥰 and I'm definitely more than 100% shocked , surprised and happy with this purchase ! I fully expected to have to return them due to dissatisfaction, but I was pleasantly impressed and surprised by how much I love these cool boots!!! I also found a banana yellow belt on Amazon that matches perfectly with the yellow boots - I was once again completely shocked at what a perfect match it was ! I will be reviewing the belt too ( it's fantastic imo too!) It was a great Amazon haul day to say the least !! They actually do have great arch support and as I said super comfortable- which surprised me as well - but definitely a pleasant surprise! Best purchase I've made in a long while - hence my long review but as I mentioned- I don't review unless something is extremely poor / bad or in this case something that is exceptionally amazing - THESE BOOTS DEFINITELY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS!! Exactly what I was looking for. Cheap knockoff without a dramatic heel that will last likely 2 seasons. The chunky heel is great because it adds height without the stark footbed angle that causes pain like other high-heeled boots. I ordered the burgundy and the brown and decided to keep both because they both gave such different vibes. I am 5’2” and they are still true calf boots, not over my knee thank goodness. The bed feels like memory foam, very comfy! And the toes don’t squish, they are rounded enough to mostly fit them all. The colors are pretty but I imagine will be easily scuffed. Though I can’t confirm that yet, most boots of this price range and quality are not meant to be long lasting. I usually wear my boots with some small scuffs, and get up to 3 years before they are just embarrassing or peeling. As for sizing, I am about an 8 (sometimes 7.5 but I lean towards more room), and they fit true to size for size 8 and not squished at all, especially with my wool blend socks I use in the colder months. If you wear thin socks only and are between sizes you might be able to go with the smaller size. So far, I would recommend. I’ll try to update after some constant wear in the fall/winter. Read more

Weirdly great FRYE dupes! I bought two pairs - one dark, one light - and I’ve worn them both everywhere. My feet ache easily but these were honestly quite comfortable, and they got me through two whole days of being nonstop on my feet and walking while in Salem and Boston. I’ve scuffed the light ones and am trying to figure out how to fix them, but they don’t even look bad scuffed! They’re pretty durable and got me through a day of walking in rain in Boston, but I may coat them with a water proofing spray so they last longer in bad weather. For the price, these are honestly amazing, and I’ve gotten so many compliments. They’re a little looser on my calves than I’d hoped but they still look cute, and they fit true to size! I'm very pleased with these boots, and they are exactly what I was looking for. I was in the market for some "campus" boots in a fun color, but was very hesitant to drop $500 for a pair of Fryes. While I'm sure these are not nearly the same quality, they look great, and will last a few seasons, which is great at this price point. They are also very comfortable and soft, with lots of room in the toe box. Would recommend! Read more

These seem like they’d be super comfy. I ordered the wide calf pair first, but the calf had a distinct rounded calf look, which I thought looked bad. They came in very nice packaging, and seemed high quality. I ordered the regular width, but they seemed too snug on my calf. Great boots for the price. Heels are sturdy and comfortable and the wide fit works great for more muscular calfs. Sizing is accurate as well. The thickness of the boot sleeve is a little thin so if you are looking for a pair of boots that you are needing to be super durable these might not be the best fit.
