These are hilariously bad but absolutely perfect for a Fembot/ Robot/ Futuristic Space Fighter type cosplay or costume. They're made to look metallic (duh) and have a foil-like texture. I have average calves (not at all small - I have calf muscles- but not large by any means) and these are only slightly snug but they zip with no issues. They're okay as far as comfort and would be best (most likely) when worn for shorter occasions of a few hours or less if on your feet a lot. If you're mostly sitting or if you're generally free from middle aged aches and pains or plantar fasciitis, maybe you can sport these all day and feel fine. These boots are super adorable and lightweight! I ordered the silver pair hoping to wear them to a concert, and they definitely have that fun, eye-catching sparkle that makes them stand out. The heel height is perfect — tall enough to look chic but still manageable for walking or dancing. I also love the squared-off toe; it gives them a modern vibe without being too sharp. Unfortunately, the calf sleeve was too small for me, so I couldn’t pull them all the way up. Definitely double-check the calf measurement before ordering. The material is soft and flexible, though, and feels like it would be comfortable once on. The fabric is lightweight, which is great for long events or travel because they won’t feel heavy on your legs. Even though I couldn’t wear them this time, I really wish I could have — they looked fantastic right out of the box and would’ve been perfect with my concert outfit. Great for Cosplay and Theatre! I love my new “Space Boots!” These were such a great find for our theatre and cosplay projects. They have a fun, futuristic look that really pops on stage or in photos. The square toe and chunky heel give them that bold retro vibe, and they’re actually comfortable to wear for long periods — much more than I expected for high-heeled boots. I sized up to a half-size so i can use comfy inserts. The side zipper makes them easy to get on and off, and they feel well made and sturdy. These are really fun boots that sort of a have a retro space disco vibe. They are skinny calf friendly, which is great for me! However, those with athletic and wide calves probably won't like them. They do run true to size. The zipper is only a half zipper that extends from the bottom to just above the ankle on the inside of the boot. I really wish the zipper matched the green shade, instead, it is bright white, so it doesn't blend in and makes them look sort of cheap, and that is why these are not 5 stars. Additionally, these do not come with a box, they came in a bag only, so if you are planning on gifting these, you will need to find a box of your own. These do have a costume-y feel. I am not sure about the durability yet, and I may never know, since I don't anticipate wearing these a ton, as they are more of a fun novelty item. They are perfect for a themed party, a halloween costume, or for a unique touch to complement a little black dress. These are great for the price and the quality far surpassed my expectations. The heel shape is amazing with a great silver color. The shoe part is really comfortable with the square toe and the support of the stable square heel. These boots will fit people with thin calves and thin legs. My calves are muscular and thick, so they only go up below the knees. The top of the boots are solid and they don’t have an elastic section to help them fit legs of various sizes. I can still wear them, they just don’t fit as they are designed. Read more

1st things first, these boots are fun! My Model Mayhem model Antonette usually wears heels so she's an expert and these passed the test. She walked up this grassy knoll with no problem. I did offer my hand to steady her up and down, but she pish poshed it away "I don't need any help Mister Man." And she didn't. These are sturdy. But she did say that around her calves was a bit tight. But if you don't have Pictish soccer/field hockey/lacrosse curvy calves you should be good. When we got inside she wished the zipper was a full zip or at least the same color as the boots. She said they weren't her style, but felt great.
