I know these are faux leather, but you would have to look very closely to notice. They look so good! They fit well. I usually size up by a half-size to to full-size when ordering boots. In this case, I went up to a half size to 8.5. The rounded toe, which is covered in some kind of fabric, allows for ample room. Because it's fabric, I doubt that you could wear these boots in heavy wet weather. The design reminds me of a spectator pump. The slight wedge does not push the foot forward at all. These boots are not for large calves. Which unfortunately I have. They do look good under jeans where you cant see that they arent fully zipped. If they werent a little too tight Id consider keeping them. I ordered my typically size in heels and these are a little tight. Not painfully so, but not comfortable enough to try wearing. Which is a bummer because the boots themselves are very nice. These are made of good quality materials. Well.designed and built. Good sturdy wedge heel. The material is very comfortable and soft against your leg. Super plush. The sole of the shoe was padded and comfortable too.
