There is a lot of quality yarn in this colorful sweater. It is quite heavy, but not so heavy that it is uncomfortable to wear. It's a fun, quirky sweater that is definitely warm and should be great for holiday gatherings this cold, cold Christmas. This shirt is so cheerful because of how bright and colorful it is. The quality of the sweater is amazing but it is so delicate. It fit me perfectly and it's so comfortable to wear all day. I've worn it a couple of times and I've noticed pilling and even a spot where the top layer of the sweater is rubbed away. You're going to need a fabric shaver for this sweater and will need to store it very carefully to preserve it. But this sweater is just so beautiful and bright. Ugh. I was so ready to love this sweater. The snowman pattern is adorable, it's super-soft, and it's a great weight to wear by itself in chilly weather or with one extra layer in cold weather. I found it to be a bit oversized with some stretch, which I love. It also appears to be solidly constructed. However... The inside of the sweater has a striped pattern on the front (but not the back!) that shows through quite clearly. So much so that when I first put it on, I thought I had missed some part of the description that said it was reversible. (Although even if it was, there's no excuse for the inside pattern to be competing with the outside.) That ruined the whole effect for me. Too bad, would have been great otherwise. Read more

The sweater is on the lightweight side, but not what I'd call thin. Call it middleweight I guess. The fabric is very soft and smooth, my wife loves the feel of it. It's pretty tightly knit, so it's warm enough for the cooler seasons. The colors are nice, certainly not a problem, but not quite as bright as pictured. Still looks nice for Christmas.
