Love, love, love. (I ordered the fur lined, which is shown in both photos...)
And more love, love, love. ...but the ones sent to me have cloth lining on the inside of the upper, instead of being fully fur plush lined. They did have a furry bottom insole, and, of course, the sweetest decorative strip of super soft black fur around the top. Before I go into that more, I most want to say that these are really great boots. I think an open-minded person would be thrilled with either. I would be happy with what I ordered, but I'm also happy with what I got. I love the classic toe shape, the fit, the comfort, the heel that's not too chunky and not too thin, how small my feet look in them, how easy they are to take off and put on, the softness of the furry strip at the top, and the cute little "jewel" on the side. I usually wear tall shanked boots, but the departure from my "norm" was necessary for a skinny-cut pair of pants, basically pegged at the calf and ankle. Tall boots are almost always too wide on my calf, making my lower legs larger than they need to be, and making me feel a little clunky and not so cute, pretty, or feminine. These boots are all of those things. They're so cute, so pretty, and oh-so feminine. The fur and jewel break up the line so there's a clear transition between the boot and leg, which solves the issue I personally have with some ankle boots looking a bit odd or off somehow when paired with the same color leggings, skinny pants, or tights, and/or being able to see my extra warm socks down inside the boot. You can't see down into these boots. I would assume that also means these will keep my ankles warmer by blocking the entrance with their furry-collared darling-ness, which also makes the lining of the upper less relevant. I ordered a larger size, too, since they're a winter bootie, so I can choose my socks according to the maximum thickness that will snug these up perfectly. Clearly, I really love these boots, And... here's where the open-minded can get great things that super-sticklers can't relax enough to even know they want, but I have to explain the situation here: I would love to be able to recommend that everyone on the planet order these immediately, as they are awesome, and the only reason I can't is because I have no idea which of the version someone would get. Since both options say they're fully fur lined, and the ones I received are lined with fabric, you might need to sort of not care which ones you'll get, and see it as sort of a mystery surprise purchase, or something. Honestly, if it isn't that critical for you which one you get, you're good with either, and you'd maybe even enjoy the little bit of suspense while they're on the way, then, for you, my highest recommendation to order these boots becomes miraculously activated and it fully applies, for you, if that's you. Anyone needing to be 100% certain which they get, and unhappy with getting the wrong style, might want to contact the seller or Amazon, whichever is linked, to clarify which is which before placing their order according to that conversation. I sent a suggestion to Amazon asking them to help the seller clarify the listing so people would know which one to order if they wanted which option, but it's been a week or so and it seems like it's the same as before So, yeah... absolutely awesome little boots. However...It's not exactly clear to me if the fully fur lined ones exist, or which come by ordering which, or if the size matters in regard to which, but the good news is that the boots I got are positively darling, so if you truly don't care whether the boots' uppers are fully lined with plush fur, or with a pretty satin-like cloth, I have to say "go for it", but again, only if you'd like it to be a surprise, of course. I obviously would have loved these super-cute boots regardless of which version ended up on my tootsies, which, by the way, were regular old feet until I put these boots on. One boot on, feet became feeties. Second boot on, I had tootsies. I hadn't had tootsies in decades. That's totally worth not knowing which lining it would be, to me. Seriously. And, I don't mind a self-administered mystery, Sooo, for me, and for others like me, my "verdict", well, you probably already know it's just gotta be: Love, love, love, and nothin' but love.
