I had positive expectations for this item, which quickly turned to disappointment upon receipt. Outside of the color, it's nothing like how it looks in the pictures. For starters, the length comes to the beginning of my hip bone, instead of the thigh joint as depicted. I'm a trim-fit petite at 5'2", so the cardigan is simply short. In addition, the very loose-knit material is just a bit thicker than cheese cloth and considerably see through. Frankly, this piece is what one would wear during summer when you just want to cover your arms, as the warmth it offers is negligible. In addition, it's so delicate that it definitely must be hand washed, not twisted or wrung, and line dried, which is way too much work in this day and age, especially for an inexpensive item that is so delicate, it doesn't look like it will last very long. Like described, this sweater is very lightweight. I’m 60” tall and I feel like the sleeves are a bit too long for me and a bit too oversized for my height. It is a very attractive lightweight sweater so if you want to add layers without thickness or bulk, this a good sweater for that. Since the sweater is thin, I would expect a good value on the price compared to other sweaters. Read more
