Womens Linen Cropped Pants Loose Casual Capri Cotton Wide Leg Plus Size Elastic Waist with Drawstring Trouses

If your body has similar properties to mine, you'll love these pants! Buying clothes without trying them on first is always iffy for me, and finding clothing reviews from ladies who seem to be about my size are rare, so I'm going to clearly paint a picture of my size to help other curvy ladies with a big booty. I am 5'4" and wear size 24, and my proportions include long waist with shorter legs, a big droopy belly, wide hips, and a big ol' booty. In other words, I can fit in an economy seat on an airplane and need the seatbelt extender for an extra inch about half the time, but keeping that tray table level is a joke. So about these pants: The waist and hips are generous - They fit me perfectly with a little room to spare, which makes them loose and flowy and ideal for hot weather. I can sit comfortably without worrying about popping a side seam. The elastic waist has enough stretch to easily pull them up over my hips. They have pockets! And they're deep enough to hold a large cell phone without worrying that it'll fall out when I bend over. The length - For me it's ideal, maybe a teensy bit long because I step on my pants a little when climbing up stairs. Pants can fit a little short or long, depending on how wide you are, so your fit can vary, but the bottom hem can accommodate letting them out an inch. About the fabric - These are the nicest linen garments I've ever worn. It's lightweight without being see through. I have worn them in a snowstorm in Wisconsin and during a heated in Florida and can honestly say they're comfortably warm in cold weather, cool and breathable in hot weather. Linen does not stink from sweat and subsequent bacteria growth like man-made fibers do. (Think of the underarm stink in a polyester shirt, for example.) Some folks may object to what I'm going to say next, or think I'm a gross slob, but keep in mind humans have worn linen for thousands of years before soap... Despite wearing my 3 pairs of these pants constantly over the past 7 months, they always pass the crotch sniff test. So I haven't washed them. Ever. Again, linen doesn't stink from regular wear. That said, I have no idea about shrinkage, but I plan to (eventually) hand wash them in cold water and hang to dry to reduce any risk of shrinkage. Bottom line, these are incredible pants and my goal is to get at least 1 pair in every color. I'm buying my 4th pair today. 10/10 highly recommend. Read more

These pants are surprisingly nice quality. Having said that, I must add that I have not worn them or washed them yet. They were so reasonably priced, I thought they'd be really chintzy. They fit nicely around my waist (where I carry some extra weight). They are just a tad big in the hips but, because they are wide-leg, it isn't noticeable. I am 5-3-1/2" in height and 155 lbs. Be patient with sizing. To start, I am 5'1, 155 lbs. so a larger waist/tummy size. I purchased the light blue and dark blue in large and extra large according to the size chart. Swam in the xlarge and the large being too generous aroung my legs and too long, so returned both. On a whim I re-orded the medium which is definitely not my normal size. Out of the package they looked so much smaller, so very surprised to fit into them. The waist was not too tight and the length hit right at my ankle (so happy not to hem). Slightly tighter than the large size across my abdomen and rear but so much better in leg width and length. I will need to be careful of shrinkage. Light linen and feel, nice colors, will wrinkle easily as does all linen so get your steamer ready. Only 4 stars as I was very dissapointed when the medium light blue arrived, not in the manufacturer package, no tag and very badly wrinkled. Probably a return from someone else. The navy in medium came in manufacturer package and not wrinkled. Took a while to get sizing right but with the ease of Amazon Prime return policy, I have some nice pants for Sacramento summers as I don't wear shorts/capris anymore. Nice purchase. Read more

While these say they have 55% linen/45% cotton, they are just standard elastic waist cotton pants. I first purchased these pants several years ago when they were 100% linen and I love them. I went back into my orders to buy them again not realizing they were now linen cotton. When I got them they were (1) not the same pretty natural color, they have a yellow coloring to them and (2) they now have cotton in them. I purchased a different pair a year ago in another color and washed them before I realized the change and they do not come close to what they used to be. They are just an ugly pair of elastic waisted cotton looking pants. I still have my original pair and nothing compares from this company, so the new pants are going back. For this pair I wouldn’t pay more than $10. What a sad change to their product and frankly, a bit of a ripoff. Anyone who never had the original linen version this version might find these to be fine for them. I purchased a couple cute linen pants from Quince for the same price and they are awesome. White is not white. There are a few things to like about these pants but there are more not to like. They fit exactly as ordered. I am 165 5’5” tall I have a long torso, shorter legs, and they sit at my ankle perfectly. I use the size chart and ordered a size large. That is about all I like about these pants. I ordered white and they are actually cream. I held them next to my white linen top and they are not white. They are also very very see-through. I know with white linen that can be a challenge, but these are extra see through. The material is not as soft as I would like it to be. It is a bit rough and heavier weight than I expected.
